稽古場での日々の練習が生活の一部として生きてきたバレエダンサー。当たり前に存在した毎日バレエを踊る環境と、それを分かち合う劇場空間を失ったのはBunkamuraオーチャードホールのフランチャイズバレエ団 Kバレエ カンパニーも然り。 通常の公演はまだ開催できませんが、劇場に芸術の灯をともして欲しいという呼びかけに応えるべく、2か月ぶりに稽古場に集った5人のダンサー。"アーティストのいま"を反映した新作を、映像作品としてお贈りします。 振付は、映像や振付の分野でも活躍するKバレエカンパニーのプリンシパル宮尾俊太郎。彼らは現状をどう捉え、何を想うのか。 前半はダンサーのリアルに迫るインタビュー、ベートーヴェンの大曲『運命』にのせ、劇場のバックヤードを含むさまざまな場所を舞台に、ダンサーか踊る後半の二部構成。アーティストの想いが溢れる16分をご堪能ください。

What are ballet dancers thinking and how are they feeling today?
A one-and-only message from K-Ballet Company × Bunkamura depicted on film.
Until recently, practicing at ballet studios regularly had been a basic part of the lives of ballet dancers.
Just like all other dance companies, K-Ballet Company no longer has the environment for dancing ballet every day,
which the members had taken for granted, and the venue space to share their performances.
While regular performances cannot be held yet,
five dancers got together at the company’s studio or the first time in two months
in response to the request to light up a certain venue with art.
In this way, a project to film ballet was launched.
We bring to you a new performance that reflects the present state of artists as a film.
The performance is choreographed by Shuntaro Miyao, Principal of K-Ballet.
How are the dancers grasping the current state and how are they feeling?
The first half features interviews that bring out the reality of dancers.
In the second half, dancers dance to “Beethoven’s Symphony No. 5 Fate” at a variety of locations including the venue’s backstage.
Enjoy the message intertwined with the feelings of artists and a theatre venue.
